Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is the oldest continuously practised medical system in the world, having been relied on in East Asia for 4000 years. Over millennia, TCM doctors and academics have continued to refine, record and test their treatments across a broad range of illnesses.

Modern TCM practitioners inherit a vast clinical experience that we can effectively apply to our own contemporary health challenges in dermatology, allergy, asthma, autoimmunity and inflammatory bowel disease. About Adina Stanescu

I've been practising TCM for nearly 25 years. I trained extensively in Toronto and China, and I'm a registered member in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario. I've taught TCM at AIM Academy, Eight Branches Academy of Eastern Medicine and Humber College.

My secret weapon and abiding passion across all areas of clinical practice is herbal medicine. I use and know like the back of my hand over 300 medicinal herbs. Their functions are varied, but we can boil down their main effect to this: they restore the normal physiology and homeostasis of the body, of its functions and organs, through their anti-inflammatory, immune regulating and supportive effects.

I love treating skin diseases most of all because we can see this healing transformation happen before our eyes.
